Technical & Design Promotion Specialist - Regional Position Dominican Republic (1 vacancy) Guatemala (1 vacancy)

Technical Design & Promotion Expert (individual contributor). Plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience (consultants, design institutes, engineering/architect offices, authorities etc.) in order to create the market demand and need for the features/products. Build long term customer relationships and identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools.
It is a regional position, serving Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
The location is in the Dominican Republic and Guatemala.

Technical & Design Promotion Manager

Your responsibilities

• Contact and management with end users, project developers, utilities, industries and consultant designers.
• Support in commercial activities, Promotion and dissemination of the brand.
• The idea is to be very close to these industries to make ABB the preferred brand.

Your background

• Bachelor ́s Degree in Electrical, Electrician, Energy and Electro-mechanic Engineering, or related.
• +2 years of experience working in similar position.
• Knowledge of the market in related countries.
• Technical commercial experience and experience in large projects.
• Knowledge in the Smart Building & Smart Power Electrification portfolio.
• Experience working in a design firm, consulting firm or industry.
• Both are regional positions. From Guatemala serving Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador and from Dominican Republic serving North Caribbean.
• Availability to travel (20% to 30% once a month).
• Intermediate-Advanced level of English.
