    An Employment Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the employment process in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

    Summary of the Job:

    As an Employment Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing and managing the employment process in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    Job Duties:

    • Recruit talent to the hotel to fill established staffing guidelines
    • Develop, utilize and maintain recruiting resources including, but not limited to, internal job postings, job hotlines, agencies, organizations, schools, online recruiting sources and publications
    • Ensure all Equality Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action guidelines are met and documentation is kept for applicant flow, requisitions, employment applications, dispositions and job postings
    • Perform initial screening interviews with and assess qualifications of candidates in relation to open positions
    • Organize and manage the recruiting process including, but not limited to, entering data, systems use and management, requisition processing, maintaining job descriptions and training team members in interviewing techniques
    • Administer pre-employment processes including, but not limited to, drug testing, background checks, employment verification, etc.
    • Assist in the preparation of periodic reports including, but not limited to, labor turnover, Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action

    It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

    • Tertiary qualifications, or other collegiate-level degree, in Human Resources
